The Scottish Parliament was first elected in 1999 on Westminster constituency boundaries. In 2011 most constituencies had a boundary chance of some kind. The West of Scotland Regional Constituency has 10 members
elected first past the post and 7 elected by AMS also known as the de Honte electoral system.
The West of Scotland Regional Constituency provided the parliament's fifth Presiding Officer.
